This small succulent has a branching structure that features woody stems. Its green leaves have oval-shaped edges, and its underside can turn red. Springtime brings pink and white flowers.
A succulent known as the Fairy Crassula can be used by beginner gardeners. It grows into a mat once it has been established. This plant can be used indoors or in shade.
The fairy crassula requires regular watering. It's ideal to let the soil dry completely before doing so, and it should be used in the "soak and dry" method.
The Fairy Crassula is propagated easily by cuttings, seeds, and plantlets.
A pair of scissors or a sharp knife is all that's needed to start a fairy crassula from cuttings. Before planting, remove the stem from the main plant. Make sure that the soil has dried completely before watering.
The plantlets will emerge from the Fairy Crassula's flower and will eventually root in the soil below.
Although the fairy crassula can tolerate cold temperatures, it's not considered hardy. Therefore, if you live in a region where the temperature drops to around 30 degrees Fahrenheit, you should plant it indoors in a container.
